A Time of Strengthening

Take a moment to meditate on the scriptures provided below and consider how the LORD will provide you with HIS strength in ALL things.

POWER PRAYER

Father, I pray that you will surround my life with more of your presence and peace. Help me to remember that I can do nothing by myself, rather that I can do all things through Christ Jesus. Lord, your word says that you will strengthen me before, during, and after trials. Help me to remember to always seek your ways and not rely on my own strength. You are a God of love, mercy, and grace. Renew me daily so I may be a blessing to others. Father, I give you all thanks, glory, honor, and praise. AMEN.

Scriptures

Philippians 4:13

Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

1 Peter 5:10
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

The Watchman Warns-Confusion and Distractions

A message for the sheep.
The Watchmen warns that Satan’s manifested evil is trying to confuse our individual efforts to connect with the counsel of our source -the Holy Spirit, by overwhelming, distracting and exhausting us. Satan and his cohorts seek to deluge our minds with innumerable strongholds and distracting noise that interferes with our ability to hear God.

Kingdom Strategy: Pray as you consider your individual walk with God. I encourage you to turn from the “things” that are keeping you from a relationship with the LORD Jesus. Consider your current life style and activities. Are there "things" that are hindering your walk with the LORD? What are you filling your time with? Let today be the day that you seek out the LORD and make a change to your lifestyle.

Power Prayer: A call of repentance, promised pardon, and gracious restoration.

Father, there may have been times during my life that I have abandoned you altogether or have replaced you with worldly priorities. I come to you today with a contrite heart seeking and asking for your forgiveness. Father, I repent of my wicked ways and seek only to please you. I ask for your promised pardon and gracious restoration unto my soul. I am so thankful that you are a faithful God that will never abandon me, even though you discipline, you always remain true to your promises and covenant. Father your word says that you will restore us when we backslide, continue to love us freely and turn your anger from us. Remove all spiritual confusion from my life and fill my mind with more of you Christ Jesus. I seek to reflect on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Open my spiritual eyes and ears so I may hear and know the divine calling that you have upon my life. Thank you. Amen.
